Hi! My name is Mia, and I am currently in my last year of
school at Sarah Lawrence College, where I study visual art and creative writing. I have been house sitting/pet sitting for families in my neighborhood for the past 9 years. I have experience working as a daycare attendant at Play all Day Doggie Daycare. I also have experience working with children of all ages and with nursing home and rehab patients. My mother owns Amesbury Montessori school, and for the the past 8 summers I have worked as a camp counselor at her summer program. I’ve also done work helping to facilitate after school youth group programs for high schoolers and middle schoolers. I additionally spent time working on the floor at Aspen Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The care work that I do is very fulfilling for me, and I feel that it fuels my creative work.
