I have been in close contact and personally involved with large and small dogs my entire life, taking on many responsibilities for care and training as was age appropriate. I have assisted in caring for family pets, including German Shepherds, as well as pets owned by friends and neighbors. I actively participated in obedience and agility training our current 90-lb. German Shepherd mix. Being home schooled my entire life, I was afforded many opportunities to pursue my interests, which included dog training, volunteering at an animal shelter, horseback riding, and frequenting aquariums. I am an animal lover, and a lifelong vegetarian. I love horseback riding and playing with and caring for all animals, but particularly dogs. I also had my own small pet sitting business when I lived in Massachusetts. I was responsible for the care of clients' pets in their homes while on vacation or otherwise away from home. I fed, watered and walked (dogs), administered medications, played with and showed affection to ensure they were comfortable while their owners were gone. I also worked at a doggy daycare, where I fed and supervised 20+ dogs at once. I am very flexible with my schedule and strive to fit your exact needs. :)
