Hi there! My name is Em and I would love to help care for your pets! I grew up south of Boston and studied wildlife conservation at UMass Amherst. I love animals of all types, so while I studied wildlife, I also walked dogs professionally all through college and developed my own local client base, walking up to 5 dogs on pack hikes and petsitting often. I worked as a dog handler at a dog daycare for 1.5 years where I learned an incredible amount about dog behavior and safe group management. I also have experience caring for cats, as I had a cat of my own growing up and have petsat for cats as well. I'm trained in dog first aid and always prioritize safety when caring for pets. I'm also trained in dog grooming and can provide baths, ear cleanings and nail trims. I have experience training dogs, especially pandemic puppies, and would love to help you train your furbaby into a trustworthy canine citizen. I would love to talk in detail about your training goals and create a plan to reach them together. I also have experience working at a ranch where I cared for horses, goats, ducks, chickens and sheep daily. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of April 2021.
