I have 20 plus years experience caring for animals. I have been actively involved in dog/cat rescue for 12 years. I consider my self very capable of handling large breed dogs, dog selective dogs and dogs with separation anxiety issues along with less involved dogs. I currently work as a vet assistant at our local low cost spay and neuter clinic where I am "hands on' daily with both cats and dogs. I currently care for 10 dogs of my own. One has diabetes and requires insulin, one has severe noise aversion issues and two are on daily medications. I know canine & feline CPR including foreign body removal in case of an airway blockage. I am also a retired RN and those skills certainly come in handy when caring for animals.

I enjoy the company of pets , actually I prefer the company of pets.
