My name is Frances C., and together with my family we are residents in Abita Springs.
Something about myself. Married, working mother of three sons (all grown up), and retired from federal employment since 2011. Also, my husband is a recent retiree from his job in the Southshore. He was an office manager for 41 years at a construction company. I decided to continue working after my retirement, on a part time basis. I have been caring for children and senior citizens since 2011.
As to my experience with pets. Although I have been around animals most of my life, I never did take care of any on a paid basis. All I can say is that if I don't have a dog around me, I am not happy. Right now, my husband and I are the "grandparents" to my son's dog, Deuce, who is a 113 pound Rottweiler! Our son lives in an apartment and a dog like Deuce needs plenty of space to run.
