Hello, I am 26 years old. I had two dogs growing up and several of my family members has had dogs. I have some experience with cats as well with previous babysitting jobs. When I was in high school I used to volunteer at an animal shelter. There was a group of dogs and cats then came in from a very bad situation and my job was to work with them everyday to get them comfortable around humans again. I ended up adopting one of those dogs. It was an amazing experience and very rewarding to first come in and have these innocent dogs be scared for you to even come near them to one day walking in and they are jumping up and down, wagging their tail in excitement.
