Over the past few years, especially during the pandemic, I've come to really appreciate the therapeutic power pets possess in just grounding you and helping you give and receive love and not take life too seriously. I didn't grow up with pets (although I always wanted one!) due to my parents having bad allergies, but ever since I moved out, met my sister's (now) husband's dog, and moved in next door to neighbors who had *literally* the fluffiest, most loving, and adorably spazzy dogs, I became sold on getting a rescue dog myself someday when I can properly afford to give my dog the best life ever. In the interim, I love playing with and cuddling dogs, cats, etc. every chance I get, and just hanging out with them and giving them all the love in the world possible. I have limited petcare-sitting experience (a few overnights, taking care of friends' dogs, and helping out with past childcare family clients' pets), but I treat every pet the same: as an opportunity to make a new friend, give a little bit of love, and remind them who's a good boy/girl. 😍

I'm a freelancer with flexible hours, so I can be flexible with your pet needs. I run my own freelance writing business and do delivery driving on the side, so I can be pretty flexible when it comes to your petsitting needs. For now, it's just loving on animals I come across in daily life!

Care-wise, I make sure to treat each pet as the individual that it is, while offering the same high level of personalized service, attention, and commitment to every client, no matter the pet or owner I'm working with. I make sure to keep a record of any special needs or fears each pet has that the owner would communicate to me, and work with and within those to the best of my capabilities.

Please let me know if your pet has any allergies or special dietary/affection preferences! I want them to feel as safe and loved as possible. :) I'd love to know their favorite toys, routines, etc.--anything that helps me love them the best way I can, and the way they love to be loved.
