Hi there! I'm Merritt and I have been a part-time pet sitter for 6 years now! I enjoy furry friends of all shapes and sizes and I am willing to work with age ranges anywhere from puppy to senior dogs. I first started with my neighbor's dog when they went on family vacations. It has since spread to 5 consistent families that I love to work with (vacations, overnight stays, daytime check-ins, and walks). About 6 months ago I moved from STL to Indy, so I am hoping to start making new connections here so I can continue to work with pets while I complete undergrad!

I am a full-time student, so I have classes Mon-Fri 9-5. I am happy to do live-in positions, so I would be able to spend mornings before classes, any mid-day breaks, afternoons after classes, evenings, and nights with any pets I am caring for!
For dogs, I believe daily engagement and activity are important for a happy and healthy companion. During our daytime together, we can take walks, go to nearby dog parks, play in the backyard, shop for a new toy, and even get a pup cup. This would be balanced with nights chilling on the couch, watching a good show, and getting all the pets in the world :)
For cats, I think daily care and activity are important for a content companion. I like to spend as much time as possible in-house with your furry friends playing with toys, spending time together, and giving them all the pets and cuddles so they know they are loved and cared for :)
