Thought the last 6 years I have been nannying two different families. Wirth the first family I was taking care of two older boys and one toddler. I had to give one boy medication every day. With the boys having very high energy levels, we were always doing activities to get that energy out such as going on hikes, swimming at the pool, playing games in their backyard. With the second family I was taking care of three young girls. Starting out the youngest was 3 months and the two older were toddlers. We did more activities that helped them with their gross motor skills, learning more about how to use the potty and learn their manners. We played with lots of toys and went to the park and the zoo. Each family had animals so I was also taking care of the animals on a daily basis. I, myself, grew up on a farm helping my dad take care of chickens, cows and pigs. We also had a dog and a cat who I helped take care of as well through feeding and just playing with the animals. My cat had two litters of kittens and I found myself learning more about how to take care of baby animals. I showed sheep in the 4h so I know how to train animals as well. Currently I have a geriatric black lab at home who I have to give medicine to daily and make sure he gets out to use the bathroom. I have loads of experience taking care of other people’s loved ones and would gladly be willing to give the same amount of respect and love to your animals!
