Lauren came over to watch our 20 month old on short notice so we could get some work done in the yard, and she was such a lifesaver! We have never had a babysitter our son wasn’t already familiar with, so we were nervous about how he would handle it. He was comfortable with her pretty quickly! It was more challenging for her because we were still outside, and out son knew we were there. He’s incredibly opinionated and determined, but she was able to handle/redirect him away from us without him throwing a toddler fit. By the end of the afternoon, he kind of panicked a little bit when she left, but then stood in the driveway waving and saying “bye Lauren!!” with a big smile on his face. I think he had a lot of fun playing with her!
