College-educated licensed practicing therapist seeking part-time work with in pet-care or nannying.

I work four days per week as a therapist and am seeking to fill my remaining time providing assistance to families in need of a kind and compassionate individual that just wants to help out!

I've had dogs and cats my entire life, and absolutely love caring for animals as if they were my own. I've worked for two separate dog-walking companies and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I also have experience volunteering in animal shelters (Helping Paws in Crystal Lake; ADOPT in Naperville) and really valued getting to take care of the animals while they awaited their new homes.

As for babysitting, I had nannied two children ages 3 and 5 for approximately one year during my undergraduate days. I loved getting to hang out, have fun, and make sure they were completely taken care of while Mom and Dad enjoyed some time out. As a therapist, I have background knowledge of child and adolescent development and the impacts of social learning and attachment theories on child emotion regulation and behavior. I'm highly responsible and organized, I value effective communication and boundary setting, and I'm also pretty fun!
