I am a speech-language pathologist, who works in an elementary school. For the months of June-August, school will be out of session, and I will be available for any pet care services.
Since I was in second grade I have had a owned a dog. My family and I have raised two golden retrievers, and we have never had any obedience troubles. I don't have a fear of animals because I have been around big energetic dogs my whole life. I have also lived with other smaller pets and cared for them (cat, hamsters, and fish).
I have taken care of others friends/familys' dogs and cats on numerous occasions. Typically, I would go over to walk/feed/ or play with the animals three times a day, or whatever the owner preferred. Also, sometimes the owners opt for pets to stay at my family's house, or I will stay overnight at their house if they are on extended vacations. I have also babysat many families who own pets; I make sure to treat them as if they are my own, and I make sure they receive proper attention.
