Hi ! My name Kafayat but, for short you can call me Kay. I am currently a Junior at Northeastern University majoring in social working so I can go on to working for the Department of Children and Family Services. During my free time if I am not playing volleyball and hanging out with my cousins I am volunteering at my near by Chicago Park District. I have my own vehicle so getting around and getting the children around will be not issue. I have been working with children for over 6 years. My first babysitting job was a 9-year-old boy over night making sure he completed all of his homework, ate supper, brushed his teeth, and then put to bed. My most recent job interacting with children is working at a Chicago Park District. I have been working there for the past 4 years watching 20+ kids and making sure they have the best summer of their life. Growing up as a park district child there was always things I wanted to change about my leader so once I was old enough to volunteer at my local park district I made it my mission to learn how to become a great leader to children younger than me. I took a child development class at Truman College to help me better understand children and the skills adult should know to help them grow properly and get the right amount of attention and nutrition.
