I have always loved animals from early on. Growing up I had dogs and as an adult have had cats for pets. As a teenager I volunteered my summers at our local zoo where I was able to assist the zookeeper in feeding and caring for the animals. Feeding and caring for all kinds of animals from fawns to monkeys, birds, cougars and bears! I have occasionally housesat for friends with pets. I have spent overnights in their home for two weeks taking care of 4 dogs, 1 cat, 3 birds and 2 tortoises! Unfortunately where i am living I am unable to have pets of my own and any chance I have to get my fur therapy in by taking care of other people's pets I gladly welcome!
