Cherie was very responsive from the start, even going the extra mile of texting a week out from our vacation to confirm days and times. She arrived promptly and was able to jump right in with our 4yo and 16mo, even though the younger one is going through a stage of crying when he realizes mom is leaving. Cherie put them both to sleep on time, a little early even, and had lots to report on how they did. We will certainly reach out to her again for our babysitting needs during our next trip to Kauai. We were visiting Kauai from Portland with our 21 month old son and couldn't have been more delighted to find Cherie! We used her on 3 separate occasions for a good chuck of the day so we could experience some activities that wouldn't fit the little one's schedule. She's extremely loving and had an instant connection with our little one, you could tell she loves kids. They went on long walks, played games, he ate really well for her (he wasn't eating well for us), naps, snuggle time etc. She kept us informed during the day and from the moment we met her we knew our kiddo was in good hands. He was always super excited to see her. We hope she comes to visit us in Portland some day!

Cherie was really helpful in watching our 2 year old during our recent vacation in Kauai. We used her for a total of 3 days, the first one she watched our daughter with another toddler & she did wonderful. I knew we had made the right choice when the second time she came, our daughter seemed really happy to see Cheri. Each time she came to our condo on time and brought a bunch of books, and some toys and got right to work engaging with our daughter. They went on lots of close outings together, taught her new words for local animals, read a lot, colored together,and made sure she was well taken care of and happy. Cheri was really easy to work with & was very flexible with scheduling. I had absolute confidence leaving our daughter with Cheri, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for quality care.
