Hi 👋🏻 my name is Amy and I just recently moved to Oahu! I'm originally from NJ, but have also lived in CA, VA, NC, and the Big Island. I have been petsitting for a really long time and I love all animals- except maybe spiders... I don't have any formal training, but I did help care for my family's dog who had epilepsy and diabetes, and another who had bone cancer. I know exactly how precious our pets are to us! Before I moved here, I had 6 chickens, 2 turtles, and 2 cats. I had to give my chickens to a friend, and left my turtles with family, but I have my cats here in Hawaii! I have previous experience helping on my grandparents farm with their chickens, ducks, peafowl, and guinies, working at an animal shelter, and working at a reptile store. I am also a full time Marine Biology undergrad at UH Manoa, so I do know a fair amount about animals.
I am very punctual, reliable and responsible. If you put your animals in my care, you can always trust me to follow all of your rules and give your pets the proper love, care, and attention they need!
