I am originally from New York State but have lived in CO, CA and HI. I I recently started working remotely for a company I have been with for almost 30 years, and only need to return to NYS once or twice a year for a month or so at a time. I am generally looking for long-term pet-sitting jobs of a month or more at a time, since I would be traveling from Hawaii.

Due to my current and recent living situation, I am not able to have pets of my own, but in the past I have had and/or cared for cats, dogs, and birds. I really miss having a pet to share my live with and am interested in living short-term in different locations in the US or abroad that will help me decide where I want to live when I retire. I am also an amateur artist and traveling will give me a chance to explore new museums and local art in your community.

I am not interested in making money from house and/or pet-setting, but will need to make enough to cover round-trip transportation to my next destination, whether it in NY, HI, or another pet-sitting job. I need to be able to stay in the residence, have accessible transportation and fast wifi service.
