Dogs have always been an important part of my life. For over 30 years, my parents took care of Dobermans which allowed me gain knowledge in caring for large breed dogs. Two years ago, I adopted my own dog, an 18-pound Beagle mix. I take my dogs on regular walks, cut their nails, brush their fur, wipe their paws before they come in every night, and brush their teeth three times a week. I provide them with all of their oral medication as our Doberman is 11 years old and has arthritis. In the past, I have dog sat for a range of dogs including any breed from Rat Terrier mixes to Great Danes. One of the dogs I've watched was diabetic, so I have experience with injecting drugs as well. I promise to respect and treat your dogs as I would my own because I know how important dogs are to their owners and would want the same for my dogs.
