I've volunteered a lot at DeKalb's lifeline shelter and worked with several temperaments of dogs and cats. I've pet sat for friends with dogs, cats and reptiles. I am comfortable and patient with animals and I have a rescue dog of my own who does not do well around other animals, so I am familiar with handling potentially stressful situations. Because of my dog, I am limited to what pets I could care for in my home (I do have extra rooms and can make accommodations, depending on the pet) but I am happy to care for any pets in the owner's home.
