I am a semi-retired Speech-Language Pathologist and am looking for odd jobs to supplement my income and bring me joy. I have always loved animals and have always had pets. I worked as a pet sitter for family friends in my youth. While my kids were growing up we mostly had dogs, cats and fish. For a short time we also had Guinea pigs, and hamsters. My husband and I are the proud dog parents of two rescue dogs who we love dearly. I am also interested in occasionally babysitting or senior companion work but do not want a weekly job commitment so that I am free to travel to see my children and grandchildren. I would also consider providing direct speech therapy services with teletherapy services when needed. I am a breast cancer survivor and do not wish to put my health in jeopardy. I have over 37 years of experience as an SLP and have worked with school aged students from 3 years to 22, and adults and seniors. I have worked in school, home health, nursing home and acute care settings. I am open to occasionally keeping children in my home or providing speech therapy in my home. In addition to my years as a speech language pathologist, I reared 3 children and am an experienced grandmother! I have much babysitting, senior companion sitting and daycare work history experience.
