I love animals. I have been a pet owner for my entire life. What I enjoy most about animals is that they are so receptive to love and for that reason it is such a pleasure to care for them. In addition to having pets of my own throughout my life, I have provided care to others' pets. I have also worked in two pet shops. I have always gravitated towards animals. I understand that it is difficult and sometimes traumatic for dogs when their people go away so I would take great care in providing comfort to the pets I petsit. I also understand that there may be special requirements for some critters. I myself have a 14 year old toy poodle who I have had since he was a month old. As he is aging, he requires a lot of extra care. But he is well worth every stride because, after all, our pets are like our children.
