I have spent the better part of my life around animals. I grew up riding horses and still do, so I have a special place in my heart for large animals. However, I also grew up with dogs in my household and adopted one of my own in 2018, whose name is T-Rex. Aside from T-Rex, my family now has a grand total of 5 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, who I have taken care of while my family has been away on vacations. Outside of the family dogs, I fostered a beautiful cat named Sesame for 4 months in 2021 and an excitable Pitbull puppy named Weezy for 3 weeks. I have pet sit multiple dogs and cats throughout the years for friends and strangers alike, and I take pride in caring for every animal I can.

I trained my own dog as my Emotional Support Animal to recognize my symptoms of PTSD and alleviate them if I am having anxiety episodes. Of course, I also trained him with the basics, like sit, paw, lie down, wait for the "OK" to eat food/treats, etc. I find it fun and enriching for both myself and the dogs to learn training methods, so I work on it as much as possible, but take breaks as needed, given that frustration can arise if worked too consistently. At the end of the day, I like to make animals comfortable and allow them to have fun. Pet sitting can be stressful on them, but I do my best to ensure they have the best time possible.
