I have been dog-sitting through Rover for 6 months. Prior to that, I would dog-sit for friends and family. I had my sweet Rex, an English Golden for just shy of 14 years. Prior to that, Louie, a beagle, was with us for 13 years. Rex was adopted at 10 months old from the Humane Society. He was a real character! He loved his girls and was the perfect fit. Hines Ward, a sassy, orange tabby joined our family one Christmas Eve and was a part of the family until he passed away after 12 years. It was so heartbreaking to say goodbye so that is when I decided to just love other families' pets. I got to enjoy their companionship for however long and would send them back home after they were properly spoiled in my home. My site on Rover.com has feedback from a few of the families.
