I used to work at a vet clinic. I spent a year there as a kennel technician and from there on I pursued my dream to major in Vet Technician! Our goal at the clinic was to recognize that each dog or cat is special and an individual. We provided the highest quality care and treatment for each dog/cat. We created a bond between animals and their owners. As an individual, I performed cleaning (cages, bowls, sanitize, new blankets, new food/water, new litter/newspaper, etc.), walking animals outside, cleaned outside area (scooped stools), gave proper timed medications (by putting the pill in a treat, sometimes had to force), bathed (from small to 50 lbs. and over), & light training at front desk (schedule clients). I've grown up around different breeds of birds, cats, dogs, and rodent family. I was raised in the country, so no animal will scare me!
