I currently work as a veterinary assistant and I have 10+ years caring for animals professionally. It is something I enjoy tremendously and am happy I get to do something I love every day. With my experience, I am able to properly administer many medications both by mouth and injectable (Insulin, Glucosamine etc.) and I am able to notice many signs of possible illness. If you do not have animals that require medical care, I have no problems becoming a friend to your pet and feeding him/her as necessary, walking him/her, taking him/her to parks and more!
