Hi my name is Hayley I am 18 years old, I have 5+ years of experience working with children. I am an Honorary Police Explorer, which is where from the age of 14-17 I was working side by side with Homestead police department officers 3-5 days a week after school and on weekends when I was not babysitting. The Police Explorers Program is a volunteer program sponsored by MDSPD and governed by the rules of the Learning for Life Organization. The program is designed to provide high-school age youth, ages 14 to 18, and a minimum of a 2.0 GPA, with the opportunity to learn about a career in law enforcement. I was an ambassador for Upward bound which is an extension of TRIO; The Federal TRIO Programs are federal outreach and student services programs in the United States designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. I was a JROTC ARMY raider, we mainly focused on not only physical health and strength but also team building and learning to motivate the people around us. I was a TPUSA President at Homestead Senior High School in south Florida, Turning Point USA, or Turning Point, is an American nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative values on high school, college, and university campuses. Some of my responsibilities as President were to plan meetings, advertise our program to the public, be a public speaker, and many more. I am CPR certified, as well as I am certified in Agricultural Science.
