Before wanting to become a Social Worker, my dream was to become a veterinarian! I still wish for that to be my dream, but in another life. I attended a four year high school program for veterinarian assisting. During my time there I was able to learn about each and every animal. While my passion is mental health, my other passion is for animals. I have had two dogs in my life time that I cared for and raised as family. Sadly, my long term dog of 9 years passed away and I was not able to take my second dog to college with me. I would care for your pets as if they were children, because in reality they are JUST like children!
