Growing up, I pet sat for neighbors or for family friends constantly since I've always loved animals and my parents never allowed me to have as many as I wanted. I did do training with my dog for a year and then with goats for a summer. For 5 years I volunteered at my local zoo and I often was taking care of the education animals, which typically were exotic pets. I am very comfortable with the typical dogs, cats, fish, and even birds, reptiles, amphibians, tarantulas, peacocks, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, and horses. I live on a college campus so I cannot have any of my own pets and hope to be able to spend time with pets via petsitting!
