My name is Amanda Byrd. My husband and I have lived in Fort Walton Beach FL for almost 10 years now. We currently have a 13 year old Dachshund named Annie. I am the Vice President of a local Dachshund rescue as well. I have almost 10 years of experience taking care of Dachshunds and other small dogs. I have lots of experience taking care of paralyzed dogs, blind dogs, diabetic, etc. I’ve also been around all kinds of dogs and cats my whole life. And after being in a rescue and fostering dogs for almost 10 years, there isn’t much I haven’t seen. Pet sitting is my main business so I am home almost all day. I love taking care of pups and kitties … it brings me so much joy. I am so happy to have an outlet to not only spend time with animals, and meet greet people… but also to be able to provide for my family as well.
