I began pet sitting for neighbors when I was around 12 years old. I started watching dogs and giving basic care (walking, feeding, etc.). Then I began watching my neighbor's pets which ranged from turtles, to guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I started volunteering at an animal shelter during my junior year of high school and volunteered for over 100 hours to get my Bright futures scholarship. I absolutely loved working at the shelter and have gone back to volunteering there in my free time. During the time I volunteered I took care of kittens, puppies, and dogs and cats. From feeding to cleaning up after animals, to walking and socialization. I am a college student now at the University of South Florida studying biomedical sciences. I am not attending spring semester but will be taking online classes in the summer and returning to Tampa in the fall of 2015. I am looking for a pet sitting job close to orange park Florida, and have my own vehicle.
