I am an animal lover, and have been around them all of my life. Growing up, my Mother worked in a veterinary office, and would bring home animals for us to foster until we could find them a good home. I had three dogs and a cat that were like secondary parents to me my entire childhood. Currently, I have two rescue dogs of my own that are like my children. I have been working with animals professionally for two years, as a volunteer for Animal Escapades Rescue. I have experience with birthing, whelping litters, caring for newborn animals, administering medications, training, catering to special dietary needs, behavioral issues, shyness, potty training, walking, proper sanitation of animal areas, bathing, reading body language, and caring for sick animals. I am not intimidated by large animals, or groups. Big or small, I love them all! I believe if approach an animal on their own terms, and listen to their body language, you can make a fast friend of them. While pets are in my care, I enjoy walking them, throwing a ball, playing with toys, teaching them tricks, and watching them explore the world with the open curiosity and wonder that makes them so lovable to us.
