I grew up in Waterford, CT and graduated from UConn in 1989. After that I went on to work for The Dept of Correction for 20 years. I was married in 1990 and had 3 biological daughters and we adopted 4 children thru DCF. I was divorced in 2012. I retired from Corrections in 2014 after being a Correctional Counselor at the woman's prison in Niantic, as well as at Corrigan CI in Montville, CT. I have been doing Animal Rescue Volunteer work for approximately 11 years or more for The CT Humane Society in Quaker Hill, where I foster mother cats and dogs and kittens and puppies. I work part time for Millstone doing Fire watch whenever there are some hours available, but it's usually just during the Outages.
