Since I was much younger I have always had animals around to care for, including dogs and cats, and occasionally my grandmothers horses. For a long time I wanted to be a veterinarian, so I would shadow a doctor at a local office to see how they handle things. Although veterinarians don't technically animal sit, they do take care of animals when not in the presence of the owner. I have had plenty of experience with animals, not only due to growing up around them but also from animal sitting my neighbors and brothers animals while they were away on trips. These animals included; thirteen chickens, four miniature goats, two dogs, and three cats, along with two miniature horses. I am a big animal lover and understand that the animals I care for are someone's fur babies and need a lot of care and attention!
