Taking care of dogs when I was younger was the best thing that could of happen to me. My mom owned an Italian Mastiff and a Collie to teach me responsibility. I can tell you, it worked... now I have 3 children who love animals just as much as I do. One day at a time, they will be able to know that love that comes with owning on of their own... Pets are children no matter how harry they are, they need caring and comfort knowing they are safe. That's why it's best to keep them at their own home... for their benefit.
