My pet-sitting experience began last spring when a friend of mine was going through a tough time and needed a long vacation and someone to stay with her cats and plants. I lived there for three weeks, then moved over to another friend's house while she was in the UK for a month to stay with her two dogs and two cats. More recently, I stayed in a family's house with their dogs, parakeets, chickens, and fish while they took a trip for a week. They recommended me to another family whose English Mastiff, beta fish, rats, and tarantula I'll be watching for a week in June. I've never met an animal that didn't like me.
