I myself have a variety of animals at home. Including a dog, I used to have two dogs but recently one had to be put down. I am very familiar with diabetes in dogs, my oldest dog whom we had to put down, had diabetes and I did give her insulin shots twice a day for a couple years until she passed. I have also dog sat my family's dog for a week while they went on vacation, I stayed at their house feeding her and playing with her, she was a pitbull. I love animals, but dogs have a special place in my heart.
