Hello!

My name is Kyla, and I am a passionate and experienced pet-sitter with a lifelong love for animals. Having had pets of my own throughout my entire life, including birds, cats, dogs, and reptiles, I have developed a strong bond and understanding of their needs and companionship.

One of my most cherished furry companions was my cat, who sadly passed away at the age of 12. I had the privilege of being her loving owner since I was just 7 years old. Her presence in my life taught me the importance of responsibility, care, and the incredible bond that can be formed between a pet and their human.

I also had the opportunity to volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Shelter, where I contributed my time and skills to help provide care for animals in need. During my time there, I had the privilege of fostering a sick kitten until he was strong enough to be adopted. Taking on the task of bottle-feeding him and ensuring his well-being was an incredibly rewarding experience. I watched him flourish and grow during those eight weeks, knowing that I played a part in his journey.

My passion for animals combined with my nurturing nature led me to pursue pet-sitting as a way to share my love and care with other furry friends. As a pet-sitter, I take pride in providing a safe and loving environment for the animals in my care. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply offering companionship, I ensure that each pet receives the attention and care they need.

I understand that every pet has unique needs and preferences, and I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet those requirements. I have experience with various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I pride myself on being able to establish trust and respect with each animal I encounter.
