Hello, I was born in San Jose and raised by a single mother. I am a biology graduate of SJSU and just completed an accelerated Veterinary Technician program. I love animals, especially horses. I've had experience with rodents, cat, dogs, small birds, horses, and even a black widow. I do have a small dog and some cats. I am fostering a young cat as well.

Currently, I could be roughly available Monday 3:30pm - 9pm (may change), Friday 1:30pm to 9pm, and Sunday 3pm - 6pm (may change). I could do overnights from about 1:30pm Fridays to around 12pm on Saturday.

I could probably do a bit more hours depending on location, pay, days of the week, and the amount of notice I get, especially infrequent, short-term, or one time positions. Contact around 3 weeks or more before your start date would be best, but you can always send a quick request to see.

The love and gratitude I have for animals drove me to become a clinic volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Center in 2020. I have a year of paid experience taking care of two cats and a dog during my time as a On-Call, In-Home Childcare Worker. I volunteered for Animal Medical Clinic for about 11 months and was hired in February of 2022. I was a Senior Play Group Runner in a dog daycare center called We Dog Care and have worked there from March 2021 to May 5, 2024. I am currently working at a clinic as a Veterinary Assistant since January 15, 2024.

Through owning my own pets and work, I can give oral medication to cats, dogs, and guinea pigs as well as subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. My goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I would love to be a Pet Care Provider because it will give me the opportunity to work with animals while allowing me to attain more professional experience.
