Alyssa’s Bio

Growing up, I wanted to become a zookeeper. I ended up as a teacher instead working with "animals" of the human species. Unfortunately, I can't have pets in my small apartment so I love when I get the chance to take care of someone else's pets.

I volunteer twice a week with a local animal rescue non-profit. I clean the kitty "condos" and work to socialize animals that have been deemed "unsuitable for adoption" (at local shelters) so that they too have a chance to find a loving home.

I also enjoy cat/fish/house sitting for a local family several times per year. Reference provided upon request.
