Colyer’s Bio

Hi! My name is Colyer, and I'm a 24 year old cellist, artist and gardener who loves animals. Other favorite things in life include plants, music, spending time with children, talking to people, being outdoors, traveling, reading, cooking, and exploring and learning new things. I am very inquisitive, thoughtful, detail oriented, and caring and have a very flexible and eager personality. I love to meet new creatures of all types and have experience petsitting both dogs and cats, including as a live-in petsitter/housesitter.

Related experience includes extensive childcare positions, including as a full-time, live-in aupair, and a position as resident caretaker for an ecology research station in college, where my responsibilities included looking after and taking care of the building while ensuring it was always clean, tidy and secure. I am an Eagle Scout and National Merit Scholar.

I moved to Baltimore two years ago as my girlfriend was working on a graduate degree at Peabody Conservatory at the time. During much of the summer I run a vegetable, herb and flower garden for and play music at Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in southwest New Hampshire.
