My name is Amanda Koehler, I'm 22, and a current student at California State University, Sacramento. I began pet sitting 6 years ago for friends and family. I love animals so much and have two of my own! My dogs name is Daisy (10 months) and she's a cattle dog and German Sheppard mix and my cat Boba (4 years) is a British short-hair. I know how anxious and nervous animals can be without their owners and it feels amazing to bring them comfort and fun when their owners aren't available!
I have experience with lots of different breeds of dogs, for example I've worked with Chihuahuas, pit bulls, great danes, labs, border collies and many more! I also have lots of experience with cats, including giving them medications. I have also cared for hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, geckos, and bearded dragons. I am always interested in learning how to car for a new kind of pet if you'll give me the change! I am dedicated to providing quality care to every animal to help their owners with busy schedules.
I am not a certified dog trainer, however, I am personally familiar with what it's like working with high energy dogs that need extra play time and attention. My dog, Daisy, has a good amount of energy and I have been working on training her since she was a puppy using training videos I've found on social media. I am comfortable working with dogs at all stages of training!
All this being said, I hope to build my clientele and bring exercise, help, and fun to animals and their owners in my community soon!
