I have house sat while taking care of dogs before. I also helped run The Pet Expo for a couple of years, in which my mom owned the company. We helped put on a production that produced hundreds of pet adoptions.

I absolutely love pets and taking care of animals. I have always had such a loving heart and soft spot when it comes to animals of all kinds, especially dogs. I am happy to say that I was apart of my mom creating and running her own pet expo for a couple of years, in which I was interactive with the vendors and the expo helped hundreds of pet adoptions, which is really something magical to be apart of. I understand that pets are basically children and need extra love, care, attention, and sometimes patience. I feel out the vibe of every animal I'm around so if it is an animal that wants their space and to be left alone, I will do so. If it is an animal that loves cuddles, I will also cuddle. I have a little Chihuahua/Min Pin mix of my own that is my absolute world, but since coming to Davis, I had to let my mom keep her as it was too expensive to have a dog at my apartment. It has broken my heart to have no pet interaction, and I definitely feel as if part of me is missing. Being around pets and their energy/emotions is something that I really enjoy and really love to have in my daily life. I think I would be a great addition to the team because of my love for animals and not to mention being around others who also have the same love for animals.
