Hi, my names Lexi and I am a huge animal lover! I’m 19 years old and majoring in marine bio at California State Long Beach to go into marine animal husbandry for the future. I think we can all agree that quarantine had us all sitting around for far too long. My husky, my absolute love and soulmate, however had absolutely loved it. I spent 24/7 with him enjoying all his company playing his favorite toys and taking him on morning and afternoon runs constantly. Those moments though, spent with my baby made time go so fast.
A couple summers ago I volunteered at a nonprofit zoo where I had the astonishing opportunity to take care of all sorts of animals including a two-toed sloth, hedgehog, porcupine, pigs, and many more! I was able to learn tons a responsibility and fun facts. I even worked at Sea Quest aquarium as a marine team member, which was a dream job!I learned tons about fish and taking care of all the animals there. I got to feed lion fish and clean jelly tanks, snorkel inside the shark tanks and so much more. If you can’t tell by all I really want to go into animal care in the future:)
