Growing up I've lived with animals all my life. As a kid until I moved out at the age of 18 I took care of my chickens, rabbits, cats, and my personal favorite, my dogs. Breeds I have experience with are larger dogs such as german shepherds, dobermans, labradors, and golden retrievers. With my most recent dog, Xena the Doberman, I taught her how to sit, stay, shake, spin, and to come to me on command. I have also volunteered at the animal shelter Best Friends for a 6 month period which involved cleaning kennels, feeding the animals, and taking them for daily walks.
