I have always had a strong, loving, intuitive connection with animals and have always been passionate about helping any animal in need. Throughout my childhood, I was always surrounded by animals from my multiple cats at home to the multiple dogs and cats at the horse barn I rode at. In high school, I worked at a pet store for a few years where I specialized in sales and educating customers on different types of dog and cat breeds and other small animals to help them choose the best pet for their family. I also helped groom them and keep them sociable to help them in getting adopted. Some of the small animals I cared for were hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, ferrets, and birds of all types, some of which were; canaries, finches, parrots, and cockatoos. I have experience around horses at an advanced level both riding and caring for them. I took western lessons for years and equestrian classes in college, where I really learned how to care for horses. I also had some experience as a Lope Rider and a Trail Guide. At school I was also a part of a Naturalist club that helped care for, rehabilitate and release animals back to their homes including; hurt deer, ducks, geese, owls, and even a white eagle with a damaged wing. There, I received my degree in Psychology and am now an aspiring Artist and local Youth Sports Photographer. Since moving to Fresno in the past year, I have rescued and temporarily adopted and found homes for 3 litters of kittens and their mothers and helped return 3 dogs to their owners. I have a good sense with animals when it comes to assessing their needs through reading their body language and sounds. If given the opportunity, I would do my best to give your pets the love and attention they need to help them cope with your absence! My paid experience is with an array of animals in the past however I am just starting out building clientele here in Fresno as a pet sitter.
