Hi,

I was raised with animals! We lived with a dog, cat, chicken and a mule:) These were ours, so not including all the strays I tried to take in as well...
I had my first horse by the age of 8. I participated in 4-H raising sheep and pigs.

My husband and I currently have 3 dogs, a pit, a golden retriever and an American bulldog as well as a DSH cat.

We have raised these guys from puppy stage and I'm familiar with potty/house training(no pads), leash training, sit, stay, down, shake commands! as well as basic manners.
Our cat was diabetic for a short time(it reversed itself) so I know how to give injections too.

Because of our busy household, I prefer to stay in the owners home and I think its easier on the pets as well.
However our dogs are very accepting of puppies, so depending on situation we may consider housing a puppy.
