I’m a 47 year old mom, wife, animal lover and home owner in Fair Oaks. I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and currently work part time (9am-1pm) in an administrative position for a local Governmental Agency. (Note: I am fully vaccinated.)

Community service is a major component in my life. In July, my family just finished raising our fourth Guide Dog for the Blind puppy. Although, we love it—we’ve decided to take a break on puppy raising to allow ourselves some time for other experiences.

I’m proud to say that my husband and I have raised amazing daughters. Our daughters are ages 25 & 19 years old.

I’ve decided to look I into pet sitting for a few reasons:

1) I love animals. My family consists of a 2 1/2 year old Golden Retriever and 2 cats—I understand how hard it was to trust someone to take care of your fur baby. Just a couple of months ago, we added 5 chickens to our family. We are still amazed how social the “feathered bunch” of ladies are.

2) I have volunteered with GDB as a puppy raiser/trainer for the past 7 years. This opportunity has provided me with an expanded knowledge and train to work with dogs. Positive reward (food/verbal praise) is the only method that I utilize to encourage positive behaviors or discourage negative behaviors.
