I have owned animals since I was 5 years old. Over the years I have owned and cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, rats, and mice. All animals and their happiness are important to me. As far as my professional qualifications go, I worked in 3 different pet stores and received pet nutrition training. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years before moving from Toronto, Canada to California. This experience has made me comfortable and qualified to administer medications and injections. I have also fostered rescue animals and worked as a volunteer, helping organize adoption days and awareness for the Teeny Snoots Rat Rescue in Ontario, Canada. I have a base level of dog training skills. My own dogs know a variety of commands, and have some experience in agility. I have also fostered Future Guide Dogs, and have worked on obedience and socialization with dogs who graduated to be excellent service animals.
