I was born and raised in San Diego where I gained a great deal of experience for animal care from a very young age. This led me to pursue a degree in Animal Science at Washington State University in which I gained my associates degree. From the time I was born I was surrounded by animals of all kinds and grew up learning how to care for them. I have been professionally pet-sitting since I was 12 years old and also have around 3 years experience volunteering at Helen Woodward Animal Center as well as with Project Wildlife through the SDHS, and I have two years experience working at a doggy daycare. I then expanded my career by becoming an admissions counselor at the San Diego Humane Society where I have been for the last two years and am on track to obtaining my Veterinary technician license by the end of the year.
