Hi there! I'm an artist/creative writer in my spare time who grew up surrounded by animals big and small. I grew up on a farm, offering me plenty of experience with cats, dogs, horses, and chickens in particular. I was a horse groom for three years, and have pet-sat when I've had the time for the past ten years for a variety of animals, including but not limited to: dogs, cats, bearded dragons, rabbits, ferrets, rats, freshwater fish, and axolotls.
While I have experience with dogs ranging from mini pinschers all the way to boerboels, since moving to a more urban area, I mostly enjoy my time with my shih tzu and two cats, all of whom are spoiled rotten.
As someone who has cared for lap dogs as well as working/guard dogs, I understand the vast spectrum of needs an individual animal might have, even within one species. Because of this, I do ask for detailed instructions on your animal's needs and personality, so that I can provide them the best care possible.
